Lanterns: Baby or Not, Here I Come!

Baby or Not, Here I Come!

There is a whirlwind coming according to Hosea 8:7, “For they sow the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind.” Indeed, since 1973, America has chosen to worship pleasure and self by ignoring biology and reality. In the process, we have aborted over 59,958,570 babies and counting.

Soon, that's going to end— abruptly! Planned Parenthood has been accused of illegally selling baby body parts. While America may not care about individual babies per se, we are apparently very concerned about their organs being freeze-packed in FedEx boxes and shipped like Christmas gifts to Stem Express and other 'Frankenstein' recycling companies without patient consent or regard for the law! The American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ) reports:

Yesterday, the Supreme Court ordered the National Abortion Federation (NAF) to respond to the petition for writ of certiorari the American Center for Law & Justice (ACLJ) recently filed on behalf of Troy Newman, a former board member of the Center for Medical Progress (CMP). The petition asks the Court to review the case involving CMP’s undercover investigation of the abortion industry.

Before this issue can even be appropriately addressed, personhood must be defined and restored. The Sanctity of Human Life Act “declares that: (1) the right to life guaranteed by the Constitution is vested in each human and is a person’s most fundamental right; (2) each human life begins with fertilization, cloning, or its equivalent, at which time every human has all the legal and constitutional attributes and privileges of personhood; and (3) Congress, each state, the District of Columbia, and each U.S. territory have the authority to protect all human lives.”

When this momentous occasion occurs, Planned Parenthood will be the first abortion provider to jump a sinking ship. Women suddenly caught in unplanned pregnancies (without this abhorrent remedy) will need our help to acknowledge their actual parenthood role and accept responsibility for their actions.

As a nation, we are all complicit in the behavior and tolerance of the curse resulting from the shedding of innocent blood. Repentance isn't a common word in our vocabulary, unfortunately. We've been in the victim role for so long that it wouldn't surprise me if we concoct a new psychological title: 'fetus abuse.' God, help us!

We have fervently prayed for the day when America would repent and plead for revival to come to our shores. Are we ready? Seeing this writing on the wall like Daniel, America may or may not have one night's warning, but God will not apologize to Babylon after sparing us if we do not turn our hearts back to Him.

Recently, some have chosen not to stand for our national anthem; perhaps they will not even recite our Pledge of Allegiance explained so well by Red Skelton:

Ironically, they instead took a knee, not for prayer, but rather in protest. I just saw another example of mockery shared by sidewalk counselor, Michele Herzog, in response to this article: 'Theologians' in Sackcloth and Ashes Virtue Signal, Telling Conservative Christians to Repent

Progressives aren't about to begin denying themselves. Their ideology is predicated on the belief that humans should be allowed to fulfill the lusts of their flesh with no restraint. Of course, these are the same false religious leaders who promote the slaughter of the most innocent in our nation through abortion! The only reason they should be wearing sack cloth and ashes is to repent for taking part in the bloodshed of over 60 million unborn human beings, and promoting lewd sexual sins that God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah over… among other things such as making a mockery out of a Holy and Righteous God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob!

God's assurance in 2 Chron. 7:14: "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land” is still our only hope.

In preparation for this approaching revival of life-affirmation, I completed training to volunteer at Apopka Pregnancy Center. I hope to help with two things on their wish list in particular— Life Skills Courses and Job Placement. You see, I believe that we must focus on removing the Crisis instead of the Pregnancy. Focus on the Heart is the name of the curriculum that APC utilizes. I love it because it is subtitled, “A Scriptural and Life-Affirming Approach.” This is key to restoring hope to a woman who realizes that life as she knows it is over. We need to remind her that not every surprise is a crisis, but if this pregnancy seems to be one, she is not alone!

The objective of Hope National's, "Focus On the Heart" pregnancy center volunteer training is to lay a solid Biblical foundation that leads to a Biblical view of the client and how to approach their problems of living with Christ-centered counseling.

In fact, our goals in the counseling room are three-fold:

  • Present the Gospel
  • Abortion intervention
  • Instill hope for the future

Maybe you've never found your role in the abolitionist/pro-life movement, but I appeal to you to consider joining me in preparing to receive these little ones and comforting their parents by coming alongside them in love by volunteering or financially supporting a pregnancy help center. Rusty Thomas, Operation Save America shared another possible response to my urgent appeal if there is not a pregnancy help center near you:

Recently, we became aware of a need we are trying to meet. There is a young lady in Gulf Breeze, Florida who is pregnant with twins. She is a high-risk pregnancy. Thanks be to God, she has decided to keep her babies instead of aborting them at the request of Christians. There is much pressure, however, from her family to change her mind.

She has a stormy past, but is wanting to do what is right. She needs help, both financial and spiritual. I contacted Allura Lightfoot from Florida and she has agreed to be our contact person to funnel the help this young lady needs.

First, she needs her own place to stay. After she gives birth, she will become homeless. She is looking to find a place in Pensacola. She wants to be near her daughter's special need school.

We are trying to raise the funds to get her own place. This would include the down payment and a couple of months rent in order for her to get on her feet after the delivery of her twins.

We are currently praying for her, getting her a Bible, finding a local church to plug her into, and ministering the Gospel.

Here is a word from Allura concerning her situation:

Hey everyone!! It is SOOOO AWESOME to see such a great response to  Kerri's situation! She has been so blessed and amazed at all the advice and help that's being offered! However, as you can imagine, it is overwhelming to get soooo many different suggestions, ideas, thoughts, questions, and offers of help! Rusty Thomas has asked if y'all could funnel any offers through me, and we will work together to make sure this sweet mama and her babies get all the assistance available.

Right now her number one practical need is housing. We are working on a few options. If you'd like to contribute towards rent, or pledge monthly support, could you please PM me? Just to be clear, Kerri wants to parent her babies, so we want to encourage her in helping her be the best mama she can be to her children! These children are a gift from God, and we believe He is equipping her to parent them. Our prayer is that God is drawing Mama to Himself, so that she can trust in Him with all her heart as she raises her little ones to fear and love Him and love their neighbors as themselves. Once we have housing set up, we will put together an online baby shower to bless Kerri and her babies! SUCH FUN!!! What a JOY it is to come alongside you, sweet Kerri, and be the hands and feet of Jesus to you and your family!

Please keep this young lady and her fledgling family in prayer. If you care to help with this need, you can give online or you can send a check to OSA, P.O. Box 740066, Dallas Texas 75374. Please designate the gift to Help Kerri! Thanks and keep pressing on saints to the high call and prize in Jesus' name!

Kerri is just one example of the women who need our loving response. For more information on Focus on the Heart, visit these websites affiliated with the ministry:

I am so excited to see the Body of Christ united to bring hope and life back to America once more as together, we are "providing Christ-centered services to children and families in need."
