A man is believed to have committed suicide by jumping to his death. The scene is near 170 Fleet Street in National Harbor, Maryland, near the Gaylord National Resort where the annual Conservative Political Action Conference is being held.
Officer Tyler Hunter of the Prince George's County Police Department said, "at this point, we are ruling this death investigation as a suicide." He went on to say that the victim appeared to be an employee of a nearby business, and did not appear to have any affiliation with CPAC.
Once witness, Muhammad Ilyas Khan, told the Examiner that he was in his car and saw a man hit the ground from the parking garage. The deceased was described as a well-dressed, middle-aged white male.
