A Deeper Look Into ANTIFA... Part 1

Antifaschistische Aktion, otherwise known as Antifa was first recognized in the German Communist party's newspaper, Rote Fahne in 1932. Their first rally was held in Berlin on July 10, 1932, which at the time was the capital of the Weimar Republic.

However, that is not their true origins. The original Antifa has been linked to the “united front” of the Soviet Union’s third Communist International in Moscow, at the July 1921 World Congress. This is recorded in Bernd Langer's booklet80 Years of Anti-Fascist Action.’

The Organization

Today, many people have a very misguided understanding of what this organization really is. This is primarily due to an intentionally skewed representation of Antifa by a corrupt and unethical media system. They are painted as heroes under the self-titled moniker “Social Justice Warriors” who are fighting to eliminate fascism in America. The mainstream media calls them a "peaceful" organization that is trying to stamp out racism, hate speech, inequality, and, of course, topple the fascist "regime" of our President, Donald Trump.

Check out "peaceful" Antifa in action from France, Italy, and here at home in America.

The problem here is there really are not any fascists in America anymore. Both the FBI and the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), as well as the SPLC (Southern Poverty Law Center), estimate 3000-8000 Klan members exist as of 2016. In total, there are an estimated 20,000 to 50,000 active fascists (white supremacists) in the United States--- out of over 300,000,000 people. That's a whopping 0.006% of the population.

For perspective, 0.30% of the population is estimated to identify as transgender. That's a difference of almost 200% or two transgenders per known fascist. Not exactly what I would call an overwhelming force of Nazis marching across the country in black shirts and jackboots.

Oh, that's right, Antifa’s doing that!

The numbers of white supremacists are starting to grow again as a response to Antifa though because they will invariably create the very thing they claim to be against. Extremism always creates counter extremism. Another one of those many paradoxical issues with this group. During the course of their fight against fascism, they create more fascists.

There is a very stark and menacing difference between your average SJW as they call themselves and members of Antifa. Many of these people who are out there caught up in this mass hysteria truly have no real idea what they are actually protesting. Don't believe me? Watch this clip from FOX news.

The Psychology

Many of these people simply want to belong to something bigger than themselves, and latching onto the liberal bandwagon of anti-everything they do not agree with gives them the opportunity to express their frustration through acts they normally would not be involved with. In other words, they get to be bad with very little chance of accountability for it.

The downside of this behavior for some is that it can be very addictive. Being involved with protests, especially ones that incite violence releases more neurotransmitters into the brain, then the body can reabsorb them causing a false sense of euphoria much like you would get from using cocaine. As with cocaine, they will need to escalate the behavior in order to achieve the effects they want.

Add to that an avenue of release for all of the pent-up anger and resentment many people carry around and they can become overwhelmed and self-radicalized. Thi, in turn, makes them very susceptible to the predatory influence of more radical groups, such as Antifa. These groups then assimilate these people into the collective where there exists a sort of hive mentality where the individual is lost within the group. The psychological term for this is called “deindividuation.”

Simply put, the anonymity of being within a group, especially ones that advocate and commit acts of violence, people are less likely to follow normal restraints and inhibitions and more likely to lose their sense of individual identity. The deep-seated desire to belong and be accepted very often leads these naïve young people into behavior that will in the long term be quite damaging to their sense of self. Basically, they are going to have to live with their actions if they ever leave the collective. Fear of this often drives them deeper into the hive until they become nothing more than another drone.

These people are the preferred targets of recruitment by the more radical groups. The same process is used within white supremacy groups, Black Lives Matter, the feminist movement, and the LGBT community in that they all strive to eliminate the sense of self, and push a total focus on the goals of the group. This is called collectivism. It is also a primary training method for both the military and law enforcement. This is called the "group think mentality." Fear of exclusion from the group can drive people to go along with anything the group agrees to, whether they personally agree with it or not. The group controls the individual in all regards, even the way they think. This is because the group also provides the means by which they justify their actions.

Antifa is an entirely different animal than your run of the mill group of protestors. For one thing, they do not just "show up" to planned protests; they are sent. Throughout their history, Antifa has been nothing more than a pack of wild dogs released on the public with only one purpose—  to create as much chaos as possible. They use intimidation and violence to terrorize citizens so that whoever is controlling them, will have an easier time forcing their will on the people.

This was their purpose from their beginning, and it remains their purpose today.

In order to really understand this, one must realize that anti-fascism is not an ideology or a movement; it is a strategy.

When an organization (for lack of a better word) be it civilian or government wants to escalate the imposition of their ideology on the people, they mobilize groups like Antifa to hit the streets and push the idea that anything that is opposed to that ideology is fascism. It makes no difference whatsoever if it actually is fascism or not, because the term is subjective meaning whatever they want it to be, and it can be labeled as fascism as a way to demonize it.

Their logic seems to work like this: Trump has been labeled a fascist, so anything associated with him is therefore fascist, as well. He is white—  so anything to do with white people is fascist (enter racism), he is rich— so anyone who is rich is therefore fascist (enter white privilege). He is politically incorrect in the way he speaks and acts—  therefore anything that is politically incorrect is fascist, you get the idea.
