Today is National Women’s Day and while many women take today off and march in the street because of the supposed fact that American women are oppressed in our white male dominated society, there are some empowered women who are sticking to their principles and making sure the truly oppressed have a voice. Lila Rose, the founder, and president of Live Action, a pro-life action group, have released the stories of two former Planned Parenthood employees in the latest installment of their “Abortion Corporation” series.
In a statement, Lila Rose explained that “the testimonials of these former abortion workers are so powerful.”
The stories of the death they witnessed on a daily basis and of the barbaric procedures they saw committed on preborn children must be heard — especially by those who support abortion without understanding how brutal and inhumane it truly is…the science is clear: these preborn children are growing, developing human beings who have beating hearts at just three and a half weeks old. Taking their lives is the opposite of health care. Despite the lies they tell their clients, Planned Parenthood knows they aren’t aborting clumps of cells, but innocent little human beings.
The two former Planned Parenthood employees are also women standing for the truth of what the government funded organization truly stands for in their stance on choice. Sue Thayer who worked for a Planned Parenthood in Iowa, and Marianne Anderson a nurse who worked with the organization in Indiana spoke with great detail over what they had witnessed within the walls of their clinics; both women had previously been featured in Live Action videos.
One of the most powerful testimonies came from Ms. Thayer who explained that she had witnessed many abortions during her training, including their aftermath. She explained, “the whole procedure takes just three or four minutes.” After the abortion is completed the staff takes the fetal parts, she explained staff referred to them as “products of conception,” into a laboratory to make sure all the pieces that the child was now in could be accounted for and that the abortion was complete. She explained that one of these procedures had stayed with her as she remembered sifting through the fetal matter and finding three arms.
“I remember standing there looking at that, and I said, ‘Why are there three arms?’ You know, and we’re looking, and the gal training me said, ‘Twins – it was twins.’ And I said, you know, ‘Do you tell the mom that she had twins?’ And she says, ‘No, it usually just upsets them.’
Rose, Thayer, and Anderson are true examples of what Feminism is truly supposed to be. It's about women empowering each other to stand for truth, and to be a voice for the truly oppressed, abused, and dehumanized female population, whether it be the children lost or the hurting misinformed mothers seeking a solution.
