From our Declaration of Independence:
"...And to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them,..."
That's not hard to understand. I would like to think a 4th grade level of English comprehension is more than adequate to fully grasp this and I am sure these words mean exactly what they are supposed to mean. They were precisely chosen with purposeful intent to express, recognize and mandate a timeless, inherent condition for man in a never-before-realized manner - secured by sovereign man, himself.
What do these words mean?
This is the foundation of the American ideal. Without recognition of this absolute and the virtue that comes through that recognition, "sedition," in postmodern America becomes "free speech."
This is our standard of definition.
These words mandate individual sovereignty and justify our constitutional limitations on government. This partial sentence validates everything we believe and hold true as Americans.
This makes our Declaration something more than a mere historical document without legal standing. This is our only legal standing and postmodern America understands this, completely.
Without this absolute, we are nothing.
Without this standard, we have no definition.
This absolute standard is what people have willingly offered their lives to protect and secure for others. And still do.
This is the American exception. It is found nowhere else on this planet anywhere or at any time.
This is most worthy.
But, this is disappearing and fading in relevance: relevancy being postmodernism's creed…
This is what Conservatives need to conserve first and foremost. There is nothing of higher value than the meaning held within these few, simple, but exact, words.
What these words mean is that the secular government of the United States exists at the will of Judeo-Christian precepts honored by the American nation and regardless of postmodern attempts at redefinition.
If you agree, please like and share. If you disagree, make your case with logic and respect.
Be virtuous or die trying.
It’s that simple.
